School Rules

• Notify the school by email if there is a change in any contact information.

• Students will address teachers as Miss, Mrs, or Mr

• All classes are charged regardless of attendance.

• ABSTRACT DANCE ACADEMY does not give credit and/or refunds for class(es) missed due to holiday, vacation, illness, weather.

• Proper dance attire is mandatory at all classes including hair pulled back. If proper attire and grooming is not acceptable by the teacher the student will be asked to leave the class.

• Name should be on all SHOES and belongings.

• The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

• No gum permitted in class.

• Students are responsible for any damage they cause to the studios property.

• Students should be picked up promptly after class, instructors are not responsible for dancers outside of class time.

• It will be the decision of the owner as to which students participate in competition.

• It is understood that a parent must give written notice prior to the 1st of the month for withdrawal from the school to receive a refund for that month.

• If you have questions regarding a student’s progress in class please feel free to talk to the teacher directly.

  • Any other questions, concerns, or requests must be directed to the studio owner directly by phone or email.

  • Teachers are not responsible for any administration matters.

• The studio has the right to refuse service.

• It is the responsibility of the parent to read all newsletters and information emailed to you.

  • All newsletters and important information will be posted on the studio bulletin boards.
